Building to Serve - A note from Pastor Bill

Welcome to Fellowship of Grace. We are located in Peoria, Arizona which is part of the Phoenix metroplex in the northwest part of what we refer to as "the Valley of the Sun." On behalf of our entire church family, I want to thank you for visiting us here. I now extend an invitation to you to visit with our congregation personally any Sunday! For directions to our church call me, Pastor Bill Phillips, at (623) 979-3514.

Perhaps a little background will be of interest to you. First let me tell you about the denomination with which we are associated: The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). It is one of our country's fastest growing denominations with over 600 full-time missionaries serving throughout the world. Men of leadership to the entire Christian community such as Francis Schaffer, D. James Kennedy, and R.C. Sproul have and do presently serve in the PCA. The PCA is committed to the Bible as God's inerrant word and the doctrines of the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Reformation creed called the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Our Congregation consists of all ages and is from many varied backgrounds. Despite our differences, we are united in our common purpose to "glorify God, edify the believers, and testify to the world."

I am a graduate of the University of Delaware and also Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. My wife Carol and I have been married since 1968 and have two grown children. Locally I have served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Phoenix Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPC) for 15 years and also have served on the Steering Committee for the Pastors' Prayer Network in Phoenix. I am currently serving on the pastoral advisory board of the Center for Arizona Policy and also am an active participant with the Board of Africa Christian Training Institute, a teaching ministry in Uganda, E. Africa having ministered there on seven different trips.

If I can be of any further help to you please make a point to contact me. Until then, may the joy of the Lord be your strength always!

Gripped by Grace,
Pastor Bill Phillips
